FLU SEASON   2009

UPDATED October 27, 2009:   Unfortunately, our supplier, Sanofi Aventis, has informed us that our flu vaccine order will be greatly delayed. At this time we are advising our patients that are in need of a regular seasonal flu vaccine to obtain it through a vaccine clinic.   We are not sure if or when we will receive any additional influenza vaccine.

We are not giving any of the (H1N1) or otherwise known as the Swine Flu Vaccine but rather the regular influenza vaccine that is given every year.   We suggest that you contact Somerset Medical Center at 908-685-2200   or contact your pharmacist to get more information on where you might obtain the Swine Flu Vaccine should you be interested.

Remember, prevention is the key to any infection.   Wash your hands regularly and see your doctor early if you believe that you are getting sick.
